If you overfill reserve tank for coolant will it do damage to car?
Hi, If you overfilled the coolant tank you will not do any damage to your car. The only thing that will happen is as the engine and cooling systerm heat up, the coolant expands ,it may be forced out past the pressure cap and you will see some leakage on the ground. When the engine is cold, you can remove the excess coolant using a suction gun,or a turkey baster, to bring the level down to cold levlel mark on the tank.
