Hello and welcome to Just answer,
Your car's fuel filter should have one threaded port and one quick connect port.
The threaded port just unscrews with a 16mm or 5/8" wrench on the line and a 20mm or 13/16" (will fit a little loose but will work if you don't have a 20mm wrench) on the filter body for a back up.
The quick connect port requires a special release tool as shown below, the tool spreads a spring clip on the inside of the metal collar on the fuel line which allows the filter to release from the line after insertion of the tool just pull the connection apart.
This is the factory designed tool below but other tool companies make different looking designs, the best solution is to probably ask a knowledgable auto parts man at the parts store where you purchased your filter to show you their style(s) of disconnect tools.
