Hello pbisaccs,

You will need to find out if it is a faulty vehicle speed sensor, cruise control module ,&or speedometer in the instrument panel cluster.A scan tool can help you with this diagnosis. It will show you vehicle speed that the PCM(powertrain control module--eng/trans computer) is reading.Next it will show cruise input controls to cruise servo. If all these look good you could have a faulty speedometer & cruise control servo or turn signal lever (which have the cruise input switches on it).
