1994 Buick Century: 2.2L, 4-cylinder engine.

Customer Question

I have a 1994 Buick Century. It has a 2.2L, 4-cylinder engine. The fan does not work. I have checked the fan motor and it works fine and I have replaced the thermostat. What else should I look for? The "service engine soon" light comes on constantly but except for the fan not working , the car runs fine.

The answe is no. Anyplace we have gone does not have the instruments to check the codes for vehicles that old. I have not gone to a dealership. The fan has not worked for 2 1/2 years, My husband jump started my car from his truck back in august of 2006 and it has not worked since. He blew many things, which we have replaced but this is the only part that won't work.
