1997 Buick LeSabre: I find a diagram that shows..serpentine belt..3.8L

This answer was rated:

Where can I find a diagram that shows how to replace the serpentine belt on a 1997 Buick LeSabre with a 3.8L engine and, if I have mine on there correctly, how do I increase the tension on it?

Below is diagram of correct belt routing:

If you have it routed correctly, and have the correct size belt, and it is loose, then the belt tensioner is bad and will need to be replaced. This is an automatic belt tensioner. When you install the belt and release the tension on the belt tensioner, it should automaticaly tension itself
