Hello, my name is***** will assist you.
Has your engine been sitting for some time?
Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?
Great. Start at the battery and measure the voltage. It should read over 12V DC. Then move to the engine at the starter solenoid. Test the large red ended cable. It should read very close to what the battery did. Then, having a helper turn the key to start, test the voltage on the yellow ended cable. This one is only activated when the key is in Start. If you get 0V, test the smaller yellow/red wire when the key is in Start. If it is 0, that points to the key switch, if it is 12V, the solenoid has failed.
