Hello, my name is***** will assist you.

Expert:  Charles replied 7 months ago.

Sure what info do you have?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Do you remember the motor
Expert:  Charles replied 7 months ago.

You may need to update me on the original issue.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
There's allot to go over with. Can you check your previous conversation with me for full info?
Basically the motor was run hot and some of the impeller clogged up the passages beneath the divider plate. Ever since it has gone to hell. One thing after the next. Too many useless new parts and too many hours of labor running test after test after test, to the point that I completely disassembled the powerhead
Expert:  Charles replied 7 months ago.

Ok, I read over it.

What did you see when you took the powerhead apart?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
There's a few things I can tell you and a few I can show you.
I took a video of it running right before I took it apart. I know the rpms are a bit on the high side for a hose pipe but I can barely get it to run at all in the water.
...... I'm having a hard time sending you files. Do you have a small or phone number I can send them to you on
Expert:  Charles replied 7 months ago.

I have sent you the phone offer. This way you get to talk directly to me.

What all can you tell me?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I'm sorry but I'm going to have to get back to you in the morning. Is there a time that is convenient for you
Expert:  Charles replied 7 months ago.

Any time after noon CST. That is when I log on.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have sent the engine to the local machine shop. They are telling me that the cylinder bore is between. .006-.007, which according to the mercury manual is out of spec. I also found a crack in the port side of the block directly beside the divider plate
Expert:  Charles replied 7 months ago.

Ouch, thats not good. Are you going to have it rebuilt?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I'm hesitant to rebuild due to the wear of the block where the sealing rings ride, and due to the crack I found
Expert:  Charles replied 7 months ago.

The block can be resleeved. How bad was the crack?
