Hello, my name is***** will assist you.
Do you hear any clicking when you place the control into reverse?
Is the E-drive a 2016?
Ok, do you have a multimeter to do some testing?
Ok, first do you have any indications coming up on the helm screen?
Ok, are you getting thrust when it is in FWD and no movement at all in REV?
Make sure that the E-Drive throttle assembly is properly plugged in. Remove the throttle cable plug from the underside of the throttle assembly and examine the throttle cable pins in the throttle assembly for damage/straightness. (Several dealers/riggers have bent the pins in the throttle assembly when attempting to connect the throttle cable.) Be sure to line up the polarizing key in the plug and receptacle before pushing together then twist the plug collar to secure the connection. If the pins are bent or damaged, the throttle assembly will need to be replaced.
Remove the cover over the control board and inspect all connections there. If they all look good. Locate the red and the black leads that go to the motor. disconnect them, take a good battery and apply 12V between the red and the black. With the positive on the red, the motor should run FWD, then reverse the leads and see if the motor will now run in REV.
Also make sure that the pins on the plug that go to the board are good.
Sorry for the delay, I had to man the grill and cook dinner for the family.
For the drive, either the helm assemble is bad or one of the cables has an open in it.
