Hello Grodon. My name is Tan.

Do you have a volt meter to test voltage at the key switch yellow/red?

Which solenoid did you jump? You have 2 one is the slave solenoid that activates the solenoid on the starter cranking the starter.

I jumped solenoid next to 50 amp fuse; yes I have a voltmeter

Ok that tells me the neutral safety switch is bad. But lets check voltage at the key switch yellow/red with key in crank position. We need to verify voltage. Do you have voltage?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I'll have to check voltage on Thursday evening: I'm heading to us open tonight

Ok Gordon. Chances are the neutral safety switch is the problem but I like to verify that is absolutely the problem. We could have a voltage issue at the key switch.

Just post back as you have been and we will get you figured out.

Thank you......Tan

Look forward to hearing from you.

hello - how do I replace the neutral switch which is connected to the throttle. Should I send you a picture
Expert:  Tan replied 3 months ago.

Hello Gordon. You have to remove the control. Send a picture of the control so I can explain removal.
