Hello. My name is***** could be a failing fuel pump or a fuel restriction. Do this start the engine when it start to die squeeze the primer bulb will the engine continue to run?

If yes then we have a failing fuel pump or a fuel restriction or possible air leak. Check all fuel line connections be sure they are tight. The if all looks good run the engine on a different fuel tank. If engine still dies then you have a failing fuel pump.

Check the fuel line connector on the motor where the connector is # ***** Then check all fittings going to the fuel pump. Squeeze the primer bulb real hard look for fuel leaks. If you find leaks this is where it will suck air and cause the engine to run out of fuel. http://www.marineengine.com/parts/evinrude-johnson-parts-diagrams/JOHNSON/48914.gif
