have 2003 power trim and tilt Showa integrated. I rebuilt unit and now bleeding air, the tilt goes up and down but the tilt bogs the motor when going down.

The tilt will bog down some when the engine makes contact with the trim rods. This is due to the extra force that it needs to move the 2 smaller pistons and the large piston. If is it bogging before that, make sure that the tilt rod is straight and not binding on the seals.
