Customer Question

I have a 1994 SeaRay 170 OB that starts on 3 cylinders, warms for3 minutes and fires 4 for the rest of the day. Following advice to check distributer I found that one of the 2 distributer cap screws will not tighten at all and the cap moves very slightly with just one screw nice and tight. Could this cause the misfiring described? How to repair and save $537 plus labor to fix?
Thanks,
Tom in Idaho
