350 Mag EC with catalyst manifolds. Warning alarm seconds

Customer Question

350 Mag EC with catalyst manifolds. Warning alarm for 10 seconds +/- and engine defaults to minimum or 5% power. O2 sensors working, manifold temp sensor good, not overheating, fuel control is showing O2 sensor cross counts on sensor 1. Revs up fine after key reset, once alarm sets no revving. About 100 hours, new manifolds complete, catalyst substrate looked good and clean. Engine runs smooth. No scan tool

Hi Wayne, my name is Jason.

With no scan tool realistically you are not fixing this yourself. Did you have any questions that I could answer for you?

That is the right answer. Appreciate your honesty. I know electronic engine control with my eyes closed as that's my business but I don't have the marine scan tool so just feeling around. Thanks.

No problem. Good luck!
