Yamaha 70tlra. help please. I put it up winter like I always

Customer Question

Yamaha 70tlra. help please. I put it up for the winter like I always do. ran it out of gas, by unplugging the gas line. Then, I drained the carb bowls, stabil in the gas tank on full. Took it out of storage for the first time. it started and idled just fine. wouldn't take and throttle. brought it home, pulled the carbs and cleaned all jets. took it back out and it would run great for about 3 minutes, then loose power. let it idle for a few seconds, again it will run great for about 3 minutes. any ideas? I'm getting ready to pull them apart again.

Hello, my name is***** will assist you.

When you took the carbs apart, were any of the jets clogged?

Did you remove any of the jets, or clean them inplace?

Did you also remove the rubber plug and get to the idle jets?
