I have a 2003 seadoo islandia with a mercury m2 jet drive

Customer Question

I have a 2003 seadoo islandia with a mercury m2 jet drive 240hp EFI engine (jet pump).........the past two times I've taken the boat out on the wter aafter a few minutes the low battery warning beep and light comes on, .... a few weeks ago we put a doublebattery system with a switch "1, 2 or all".... also when I have the boat in the outside storage , I hook up a solar panel trickle charger and mainter from " Battery Tender" brand, so why would the batteries be both low?
JA: Sometimes boat issues seem like they'll be really complicated, but end up being easy to fix. The Marine Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Is there anything else the Marine Mechanic should be aware of?
Customer: thank you,

Hello, my name is***** will assist you.

Are you near the boat now and have access to a multimeter?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
no i'm not near the boat, is multimeter same as the voltage meter?
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
where would I hook up the multimeter? , I can check it tomorrow morning
Expert:  Charles replied 5 months ago.

Yes, a multimeter is a VOM or a volt meter/

On the back of the ALt, you will see the large red wire. From that post with the red meter lead, the black meter lead goes to a good clean ground. Are you getting battery voltage there?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I will have to check tomorrow , i'm not near the boat this time........
