Hi Lou, my name is Jason.

You wrote "1971 Century Resorter 18' RV"

Century made both RV's and Boats. I want to make sure your question is in the correct category so that it can get answered for you. Is this a Boat, or is this an RV?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
It is a boat - that description was listed on the invoice. I understand the confusion.

No problem. Which engine is in the boat, is it a Mercuiser, or something else?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I believe a ford
Expert:  Jason replied 8 months ago.

Ford does not make marine engines.

Is there a serial number on the engine that I can get? If there are no serial numbers, can you take pictures of the boat hull, the engine, and the drive unit so I can see exactly what you have.

Unfortunately the boat is 300 miles away

Hmmm... I would love to help but this isn't going to work right now, I simply need more information. There are no time limits here, if you want to wait and get me pictures when you can, we can do that. Otherwise you can contact customer at *****@******.*** If you want to cancel.

I'm being told it is a Ford 350 v8 engine - from 1971
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Sorry 250 hp V8 Ford

Any idea the nut that would go on the shaft and the tool to remove the propeller?
Expert:  Jason replied 8 months ago.

I would need to know who makes the drive unit. Ford does not make marine enignes, what they do is sell blocks to companies that convert the block into marine engine. Those companies also make the drive units. So I would need to know if you have a Mercruiser, OMC, or something else.

There are no time limits here, can you get me pictures of everything?

Hello, just checking in, any luck getting some pictures?
