Hello. My name is***** we need to do first is a spark and compression test. If you believe they did the compression test then we can do just the spark test.We can do this a couple of ways. We can do a cylinder drop test with engine running pull each plug wire of one cylinder at a time. The engine should drop rpms and you should hear the popping of the spark jumping from the plug wire to the spark plug. Another test is to use a spark gap tester and finally a timing light. If we have spark on all cylinders that leaves the fuel system as the problem. We can do a cpouple of tests here when running the boat and it is acting up choke the engine. Does it run better? If no change squeeze the primer bulb when engine is acting up. Does it run better? Can you do these checks and post back with findings?
