Hello, my name is***** will assist you.Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Yes i do
Expert:  Charles replied 10 months ago.
Great. Have you already tested the voltage at the plug on the box of the boat?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
No i have not i just checked that there was voltage at the batteries they both have 12.4v
Expert:  Charles replied 10 months ago.
Should check at the plug and at the top of the motor as well.
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Like inside the top of the motor??
Expert:  Charles replied 10 months ago.
Yes inside the top cover, red and black wires.
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Would those wires come loose over time and what if theres still no power?
Expert:  Charles replied 10 months ago.
anything is possible inside the top of the motor. If there is no power, we need to figure out why.
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Think i figured it out the breaker block had a little black button popped out pushed it back in. Plugged the motor back in now it powers up no prob. What do u think would have caused the breaker to blow?
Expert:  Charles replied 10 months ago.
Typically a short will do it. you will still need to open the head to make sure that there is no bare wires inside it.
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I opened the top everything looked good no bare wires and the fuse was good
Expert:  Charles replied 10 months ago.
Thats good. Also make sure that the battery connections are tight.
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Oh yeah there all tight checked them with an adjustable when i was out on the water wish i had seen the breaker while i was out there would have been useful
Expert:  Charles replied 10 months ago.
Yes it would have been. But now you know about it and can save a day on the water later.
