Hello, this is Charles. Thank you for requesting me. I have a few questions back for you.

How many batteries are you running?

Is the alarm beeping or steady in tone?

Do you know the maintenance history?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
2 batteries. Steady tone. Ran it a couple months ago with no issue. Ran it last night with no issue. This morning is when issue started.

Thanks, ***** ***** happen to have SmartCraft gauges? If so, what did the text say?

Do you also have a multimeter to do some testing, and basic hand tools?

One fuel tank in the boat?

Port side actually just started working. Starboard still having issue. Did find some water in fuel but got it cleaned out.

Ok, the first thing that we need to verify is that there is no water inside the VST in the engines. On the left side you will see a silver container with a red castle piece on it. On the bottom of that there is a hose. Remove the hose from the rear fitting, then while holding the hose into a glass jar, open the FWD drain of the VST. DO this for both engines.

How do we open the forward drain
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
We were able to forward drain in starboard but nothing came out the bottom.Could not get drain open on port engine but it seems to be working fine now.

Can you remove the red topped filter on the stbd engine and then look inside the chamber?
