Hi, we are short handed during the holidays.
Did you try to reprime the engine with a primer bulb? Are you getting and of the Check lights when it stalls? Was it running well prior to this?
Do you have the Systems Check gauge with the 4 lights?
The lights should be illuminated then off before starting the engine.
Old gas is a definite possibility of not running. Have you checked for water in the fuel? Take a sample form the VST, the tank on the side of the motor with the fuel pump and see if you get any water.
Do you have an external fuel filter?
Dump the fuel filter and see if you get a lot of water.
The way the gauge works is when the key is turned on all 4 lights light then go out one at a time. This is the EMM in diagnostic mode.
When you turn the key to on, listen at the engine for the fuel pump to turn on. Does the pump turn on then stop?
Pump should run with key ON. Do you have access to fuel injection gauges?
