The fuel pump has a bad diaphram or gaskets are misaligned.

Did you rebuild the pump your self? Did you inspect all the pump components and look for cracks?

The only reason the pump will leak through that hole is a bad diaphram or a misaligned gasket.

Did you do a complete kit or just the diaphram gasket?
