Hi and thank you for your question.
Sadly, there is not a good, easy answer to your question. Yamaha does not design the hull or deck to have cleats added to it. Any place a cleat would go, is a heavily reinforced area so that the fiberglass doesn't crack from the use of the cleats.
If you want permanent cleats installed on the ski, you are going to need to reinforce whatever area you chose to install them. The easiest places would be anywhere you can access from the inside, so you can fiberglass either a sheet of SMC or plywood or even Stainless, to distribute the load over a larger area to prevent cranks or pulling the cleat right out of the fiberglass.
A quicker easier solution would be to use the vacuum mounted temporary cleats and just attach them when and where you need them. Then you don't have the trouble and expense of glassing in permanent cleats.
Also, unless you are very experienced in working with fiberglass, I would not suggest attempting this on your own.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
