Hello my name is ***** ***** am I speaking with? Can you elaborate a little more for me on what the engine is actually doing? Does it feel like it's dropping cylinders? Is it loosing rpms?

runs good at idle and top end just hestates between 2000-4000

not loosing rpms checked spark before I started had good spark

How bad is the hesitation? If you are at say 3k rpms, and then you punch the throttle. Does it last more than 1 second?

Have you pull the engine cover off, run it, and checked to see if it is actually warming up, do both heads get good and warm?

You need to see if the engine is actually heating up. The other thing since it came to you this way is did you pull the jets out of the carbs and record all their sizes, and then checked the manuals to see if the carbs had the correct jets installed into them?

yea it running at temp and I did check the carb jets

No, that wouldn't do it. How about running the engine off of a portable fuel tank filled with new gas. Have you done that?
