Hi Tan!
I have a Techmate Pro scanner. It showed a Fault Switch......Problem. How do I determine what fault switch are they referring to and what system is it related to, also what color should the gas be? 1998 Mercruiser 7.4 MPI

Spark yes. Fuel pressure im not sure, I checked the pump with the Techmate and did the test. The pump would run but I don't know about pressure.

Ok we need to check fuel pressure on the fuel rail. I know we have enough compression for the engine to start and we have spark leaving fuel as the only issue.

Sounds correct. I did took your advice and put quickleen in the tanks also filled the port fuel filter with quickkleen and ran the engine for a minute and am letting it sit, but I cant do the same on the starboard engine for it won'tstart.
