How black are the spark plugs?Remove the fuel line from the engine. Use the primer bulb to squirt some fuel into a glass jar. If there is water, you will have two layers in the fuel.

I think I can get a plug out and look at it tomorrow.
Water in fuel I can do and report back tomorrow.
Could this be an idle adjustment?
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.
normally they just dont get out of adjustment.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am not very handy but can try and get a plug out and check for water in the tank tomorrow and get back with you. I have never removed a plug. Do they need to be torqued when replaced?
How do we make contact?

You do not need to torque them back on, just get them tight. the hose will be simple.Tomorrow, just reply back he same way that you are today. I will log on about 830 PM CST and see your reply and get back to you.

The spark plugs looked OK but I don't really know what to look for..
The gas line is sealed at every connection with plastic zip ties.
Could it be an automatic idle valve is broken?
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.
For the fuel, cut the zip tie closest to the engine and pull the hose off there. There is no auto idle valve on a two stroke engine. It is all in the carbs.
