Customer Question

I just rebuilt carbs on my 1996 speedster with 717 engines.the port side stern cylinder is not fireing . I have good spark . It seems to be a fuel delivery problem. It seems like the stern carb is not getting fuel. Any thoughts? Mike

Since there's only one fuel pump for both carbs and the first carb is getting fuel that indicates something done wrong in the rebuild. You can pull the feed hose off between them and make sure fuel is being sent to the second carb.If it is then the second carb probably has a sticking needle or the pop off is way to high.Either way it sounds like you're going to have to pull the carbs and go through them again.
