if i reset the fault code it usually returns after 2 hours of running the engine

Are you a dealer with all of the proper tooling and stuck? This isn't something DIY, if you are not a dealer it would need to go to a dealer.

my dealer hasnt found a solution

If they haven't been able to figure it out the next step would be for the dealer to call Mercury Marine, discuss the problem over the phone, and if need be, Mercury Marine will send out a tech rep to solve the issue. Tech reps are master mechanics that work with the engineers, and they work for Mercury Marine, not the dealer. Has the dealer had a tech rep out yet?
