Just took delivery on a crownline 285ss. Electronic gauges

Customer Question

Just took delivery on a crownline 285ss. Electronic gauges intermittently freeze, and display "no data". When you re-start the boat, the gauges begin to work again.
Dealer says the gauges "just work that way" and there is no recourse.
what do you think?

Hello, my name is***** you for allowing me to assist you today.

Which engine and gauges do you have in the boat?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Boat: 2014 Crownline 285ss

Engine: Mercruiser 350 mag

Gauges: Faria

Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.
Ok, Of course that is not normal for the gauges to do this. When it goes to No DATA, that is a loose connection either on the back of the gauge or the engine. Check that the plugs on the gauge are tight and all of the pins are making good contact.
