I have QMC 540 HP cummins with 3600 hours. My port engine developed a pin hole in the fuel cooler presumably from corrosion. It leaked around 5-8 gals of saltwater under the engine on a canyon trip. The engines run fine. Is this temporarily repairable with Marine Tex or JP Weld or do I have to have fuel cooler replaced immediately?
Hi. Thanks for asking your question! I will try and help you out.

If you can get the area around the pin hole clean and dry, you should be able to use JB Weld to temporarily stop the leak. I have used JB Weld before to stop leaks. It works nicely for projects like this.
