compression test on 250 verado gave results from 150-160 psi after a lite spray in the cylinders with inox is this ok to do it this way and are the results acceptable
Optional Information: Make (of engine): mercury Model (of engine): verado Year: 2006 Horsepower: 250 Already Tried: Got water in the bottom cylinder from accidental shift into revers at 3000rpm engine stalled and water came into bottom cylinder. Oiled cylinder and pumped water out, cleaned plugs, compression test with results on all cylinders at aproxx 160 after a lite spray with inox. Engine tries to start is firing 2-3 times but wont start.
Try it without the inbox, because you con not compress a fluidIf you removed the water and sprayed oil into ou will be okWe need to get it running thou
only bottom cylinder took water and had inox sprayed into it before the compression test so it came up around 160, top cylinder tested dry was only around 100 until i gave it a lite spray, this engine was running perfectly before this and has around 200 hrs on it
Yes your fine, you need to go run the motor and see if it has problemsYou saved the motor by spraying in the oil into the cylinder
I,d love to go run it but it tries to start but wont. Fires 2 or 3 shot out the exhaust but just wont fire up. Spark has been checked and the exhaust is smoking so its burnin fuel but only 2 or 3 fires while its cranking, not sure what to try next
That oil you sprayed into motor is causing it to foul upTake the stark p,UBS out and crank it over and then reinstall them and try it out
