Hi, My name isXXXXX you for letting me try and assist you with your problem.Do you mean the ski slammed down hard after jumping a wave or a wave washed over the ski soaking it?And did you do a spark test to verify there's no spark?
jet skit took water into the engine compartment as i was told by the owner. Yes no spark i can grab the plugs and nothing.
Oh my. This could be anything from water shorting out a connector to water in the stator housing depending on how much water was in it and for how long.If it was 6 inches or so and it sat for an hour water is very likely to be in the stator housing and that will short out the stator and you won't get spark. The electrical box should be opened up to see if it's dry.Other than that disconnect the connector coming from the handlebars that has a white wire and a black wire. And check for spark again. You can use an inline spark tester. It would be much better than holding the wires and getting shocked.
