Hello,I'm Capt Ron and will try and help, first off,the 327 engines are Chevy's,you say you are getting fully dressed engines to replace, whose engines, what manufacture, what do they consider fully dressed, what horsepower are the new engines, carb or fuel injected.
350 chevy.s., fully dressed means i have the alternator, distributor cap etc.they are carb and are remanned.230 hp i believewill the manifolds, tranny etc fit please
hello again, all of the fully dressed engines i purchase include the flywheel and harmonic balancer, which you will need, motor mounts and engine wiring harness,do you know what year the remanned engines are and 230 HP sounds low,i will need more info on what engines you are getting to give you a true answer.Capt Ron
engines are 1989what is compatable pleasewhat exactly can i swap pleaseand what will i needplease tell me if the transmissions will workthe exhaust manifoldsthe motor mountsthe alternatorthe 327q is reversedis that a problem
all of the external parts, except the flywheel and balancer will work, what trannys are you running in your boat, are they velvit drive or walter or another brand. The reverse rotataion could be a problem, you will have to tell the engine builder you need a reverse rotation engine,it will cost more then standard rotation.I hope this helped, let me know if you need any more info. Thanks,Capt Ron

Hello again, yes you can use the old harness, what carb is coming with the new engine and yes I have done this repower before,do you have a top mount starter.Have you checked with your remaned company on the counter rotation engine, what company are you going with on the engine and where are you located at.Capt Ron
