just broke out my 1995 mari star and the battery wasnt taking charge from the engine. is it as easy as replacing the battery or could there be something else. someone mentioned a belt involving the alternator?

1. How old is the battery?
2. You mentioned alternator belt. There is a belt on the alternator correct? The alternator is phyisically spinning?
3. Do you have, and know how to use a basic digital voltmeter?
