Have a 2000 200 EFI that has no low speed performance. Take forever to plane , then it will fly. Mash the throttle and wait. I did change fron a 24" to a 25" prop lost 600rpm coincidence????
Optional Information: Make (of engine): mercury Model (of engine): 200 EFI Year: 2000 Horsepower: 200 Already Tried: fresh fuel, will change seperator
You should not have lost 600 RPM with 1 inch, unless it was a bigger diameter and went to a 4 blade propPut the old prop back on and see if it runs the same or better
Perfomance problem no low speed power
Relist: Inaccurate answer.Perfomance problem not prop
Try pumping the primer bulb and see if that fixes the issue, you have 2 fuel pumps on that motorA low pressure pump that fills up the higher pressure fuel pump tank called a VSTIf your getting full RPM's then we know that all the cylinders are sparkingPost the serial number so we can look up the ignition, some have a low and high speed stator
