Please Help, I own a 1982 pacific 22, and have owned it for 12 years. This past winter the neighbors tree fell on it after Hurricaine Irene. The main damage is to the windsheild and front bow rail. Any ideas on where to look for a windsheild?? I have tried salvage, ebay , and craigs list to no avail. The makeral are staring to hit , which means the stripers aren't far behind, any help would be greatly appreciated. L V cape Cod, MA

Unless you happen to hit the boat jackpot thats not something you would ever find. Winshields are made in small batches, and there are not many "extras" back when these boats were new, that was 30 years ago for this one.
Your only option here is have a winshied custom made and fitted to the boat. This shouldn't be a big deal if your neighbors homeowners insurance is paying for it.

The howmowners ins in this area- you pay for your damage they pay for theirs, so no luck tere. Is anywhere that might have an aftermarket windsheild if not where would i start looking for a custom windsheild (sounds very expensive). Thankyou again for any help. LV Cape Cod, MA
Thats odd. So if your neighbors tree hit your roof and wiped out half your house you would have to pay for that?
There are quite a few companies that do this. A good portion of them will want the boat however in order to take measurments.
UDP Plastics

Custom Mold and Tint

Custom Marine Plastics

And there is a company by the name of Robinswood in the Cape area. The owners name is XXXXX XXXXX his number is(NNN) NNN-NNNN
Again these are all custom made, so I can't say anything about the price. But if you need a full frame and go with acrylic (over actual glass) your probably looking at the 400 to 600 range.
Good luck!
