Need to know how to change out the water impeller on a 89 70 hp evinrude. don't know the model number on the engine. Would like some pics if possible.

The shift has to be disconnected at the engine. To disconnect the shift remove pull pin # XXXXX from the shift arm # XXXXX push in on the arm # XXXXX this will release the shift. The remove all the bolts holding the lower unit on 4 of the #66 one above the prop # XXXXX and one#68 under the trim tab # XXXXX Drop lower unit remove the water pump housing # XXXXX and replace the impeller and all worn parts, the kit # XXXXX is complete with most common worn parts.
