Hello, welcome to JustAnswer.

 

Check the leading edge of the gearcase on your motor for a small hole. Look carefully, it is easy to miss. This is the speedometer pitot. Chances are you have a piece of debris jammed in there. This happens quite often. Using a small drill bit (no drill) stick the pit into the hole and spin it back and forth with your fingers, pulling it back out often to clear the debris, until you get it cleared out.
