Help! I have a 2004 Honda 4 stroke 90hp that is choking during acceleration than stalls. New fuel filters, spark plugs, new gas, etc. Sounds good during idle. Any suggestions?
Could be traces of water that have made into the carburators- there should be a screw at the bottom of the carb that will allow them to drain.
tighten them back up,and prime the bulb on your fuel line and try again.
If there is no difference you may have to take it off to clean
Hope that this was helpful, thanks.
This is a fuel injected motor - no caburator. We've already added a de-gumming solvent, etc.
could be a few things, sticky or plugged injector, bad throttle sensor, blown head gasket, if you dont have a lot of knowledge with fuel injection systems i would advise taking it to a shop so they can hook up the diagnostic software to check for codes and diagnostic testing.
