The "check engine" symbol just illuminated. All fluid levels and temps are okay. I can't get in to the BMW service center for 2-3 days. Will I be okay? 2015 X5
JA: Do you have the trouble code? Do you have a code reader or scan tool?
Customer: Not sure what that is, or where to find it?
JA: Are you fixing your X5 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing, just came on today.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have a "must go" 200 mile roundtrip business trip. Am I okay to make the trip, and see the BMW shop in two days?

Hi im kevin is there any noticable difference to drive ? And vibration in engine ,lack of power ?

Ok if there is no difference to drive you should be fine to drive until you can get it into garage

I checked the fluid levels and temps too, they're all green.
Think it may be something to do with the environmental system?

Its normally an emmissions related fault which causes no fpreal difference to drive .normally if its so ething to be worrried about the car will limit power
