Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

It's possible that you have a deeper issue with the charging system not allowing the alternator to work, you may have gotten a bad replacement, or there may be a cable or connection issue depending on where you took the charging voltage reading from. The alternator could be charging but current isn't reaching the battery or rest of the vehicle.

Where did the replacement alternator come from?
