From what I see sounds like head gasket. suddenly excessive

Customer Question

from what I see sounds like blown head gasket. suddenly excessive white smoke, loss of power, runs very rough
JA: Is this your first time dealing with this issue? What size is your engine? What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: its a bmw 135i, first issue. Wonder if it is ok to drive it to a shop or if it needs to be towed
JA: What year is your 135i?
Customer: why do you ask?
JA: I'm just trying to get information to help you.
Customer: 2009
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have done nothing, it popped up this morning and its 7:38am
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: It ran fine on a*****yesterday. But there was a minor leak in the head gasket, not burning oil but a wet spot, identified a couple of months ago.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
Customer: I just don't want to do harm.

I will provide an honest answer. I trust this will be appreciated. Please remember that a low rating PUNISHES me for being honest and that I receive nothing for my time until a positive rating is clicked.

.

thank you for your attention to the rating requirement.

.

you are definitely not doing it any favors driving in this condition, further damage could result, especially if it starts to overheat.

.

if it is running very rough as you say, I would suggest having it towed

.

Please let me know if you have further questions. Please do not forget to click a positive rating as this is the only way I receive credit for my answer, thank you. Best wishes with your vehicle.
