Just replaced battery on 2010 mini and had the windows down part way then i found out the car needs to be reset is there any way to bypass to get the windows closed or any way to reset the car without taking to dealer

Hello

try this procedure:

  1. Insert the keys and turn on the ignition. It does not matter whether you start the car or not.

  2. Put the window all the way up (if you are able).

  3. Press and hold the window switch in the up position for 10 or more seconds. Do this with the door closed.

  4. Open the door to make sure the window drops as it should. Close the door to make sure it goes back up again.
