2006 bmw 750 LI, car stalled,check engine light came on, code for thermostat is in the memory.

Hello and welcome.


As a starting point, you will need to have your thermostat replaced.


Once that has been done, you should clear the codes and drive the car again.


Hopefully the propblem is rectified.


If the stalling continues, it is most likely due to a failing cam or crank sensor.
