im changing my old stocked radio out of my 735i 1988 because its old and burnt out, but i dont know the color codes to the wires thats hooked on, can u help

do you know the color/purpose of the wires coming out the car to get connect to the harness, i cant connect the connection with out the color pattern of each wire
example. red/white wire - 12 volt switch power
purple/ white - chassis ground
