2004 325i: it cost to replace a thermostat regular

How much does it cost to replace a thermostat regular on a 2004 325i? Is this a common repair?

Yes this is very common fault on this engine,the thermostat is map cooled which means it is controlled by the engine ECU.
The thermostat is around £45 some coolant and about 45 mins labor time..
