Thank you for using Blue Book, and Just Answer!

My name is ***** ***** I'll be glad to help you.

I can help with the pistols and rifles, but not swords or shields. Once make and model are identified, I can provide the value of the firearms so he can decide.

How many firearms are you talking about?

Are you there?
Expert:  Philip Van Cleave replied 11 months ago.

Ok - I think to break this into a manageable task, I suggest we do the 10 pistols first. Then we can close this question and you can start a brand new one for the short rifles, regular rifles, and musket.

Ok!

What I need for each pistol is:

1. Any markings that you see on the gun - caliber, patent dates, serial numbers, name of maker, etc. For a revolver, open the cylinder and look for markings that are invisible when the cylinder is closed.

2. Photo showing both sides of the gun

My father will take them off the wall to find out the make and model:Winchester repeating arms
Expert:  Philip Van Cleave replied 11 months ago.

OK, we can do one pistol at a time as you get the info and photos for each.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Is this helpful?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
There is no Revolver with cylinder within the collection.
They are all antique pistols...
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Are you still there???

Philip?

I'm interweaving this with other things I am doing, so I might be a few minutes between responses.

Things like that Winchester rifle are what I can do the quickest. The match locks and percussion guns will take longer to identify. How many of the rifles are centerfire like that Winchester?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Antique pistol:Julian pascual -Madrid 1803
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Its ok
If you can send me an email
With the info it would be great! How much do you think these 3 will be valued at.My father is almost 80 years old so it will take some time for him to give me all the info. Once I have it I can send it to you.
Expert:  Philip Van Cleave replied 11 months ago.

Now that I am seeing some of the guns that your father has that are over 200 hundred years old, I am going to have to opt out and let another expert who specializes in guns that are Pre-Civil War. I can help with guns that are from around the Civil War and later, like the Winchester rifle, but I'll just let another expert step in who has more resources on those older Pre-Civil War guns.

Someone should get back to you here, Vanessa. You are not being charged at this point.
