Customer: She cannot walk on one leg
JA: Have you looked to see if there is a wound on their foot?
Customer: No wound

Hi this is Dr Hill. Is this a wild bird that you found injured or your own bird named Wild One. If your own, what type of bird and any known trauma.

No, but they were born out in the grass. The mother came from across the fence from the nieghbors. So, not really wild but not really one of our birds either.

I cannot afford to spend much on this matter. Perhaps you could just tell me how to treat a sprained hip. We are trying a sling, but ur design is not great.

We inherited the bird and it is of mixed breed. Its a smaller bird, We are not suing a splint because we cannot determine if anything is broken.
