Customer Question

I have 2 black Austerlorps. ~ 5/6 months old. They are not making the typical chicken sounds. The sound is somewhere in between the normal chicken sound and what a rooster would make (they are not roosters). Is this typical or are they sick? They share their coop with a Buff Orpington and 2 easter eggers. We live in the New England area. Their coop is wrapped in plastic (with a few vent for fresh air) to keep them from the elements

Please tell me if this is what you're hearing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziGhfwnsycw/ If so, you have normal maturing Austerlorps!

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. We don't have many avian vets on this site.
