Yes, such a source exists. It's one I have been using successfully for over two decades. It's the Bible. Most people would be surprised to know that the Bible contains advice on just about every facet of human life. Some people consider the Bible old-fashioned, but its value stands up to the test of time. It contains principles that help a person make wise decisions. Since it was given to us by the one who made us, it's the perfect instruction manual, and no other book can compare.

Like any instruction book it will take some effort to read and understand. But there is plenty of help available in understanding the Bible and the gems it contains for today's families. I have a library of Bible-based publications that deal with family life, marriage and divorce, teenagers and children, single-parent families, business dealings, and every kind of problem experienced by mankind. It's on a cd-rom and has several ways of searching for a topic. The results show either verses found in the Bible, or references to publications that explain the Bible.

If this is a resource you would be interested in looking into, let me know and I can provide further information. One reason I recommend the Bible over any other book is because human psychology is limited at best, and can be harmful at worst. Many people realize that human psychology changes over time, and the so-called experts contradict each other, or after a few decades may even admit that they were wrong (Dr. Spock comes to mind). On the other hand, the Bible is always accurate and never misleading. It is a dependable and authoritative resource. But don't take my word for it, look into the Bible yourself and see if it doesn't outshine any other resource you could have on your bookshelves.

Please let me know if you would like additional information. I can provide resources to you at my cost.

Hi Sir; I really like your answer and as a bible-studing Christian, I agree that the bible is the one book that will help almost everyone. However, in my case, that is not the case. I'm sorry that I did not make myself more clear. I'm researching to create a new (fun) family orieented parlor game that will use a psychology, intuition, & common sense basis to answer questions for points. It will be called "Just Psych It". I think if I use the bible and give attribution to such, it will limit its acceptance. As you may know, almost everyone is interested in psychological doings--just look as Dr Phil, Dr. Laura, etc.! If you have additional sources that may be useful to me and that I can use--such as simple answers to personal, family, love, work, etc dilemmas expecially on a multiple choice basis--please get back to me. thanks Tom Bishop (sorry it took so long to answer.)
