Reply to tex-eng's Post: I suppose I am looking for the oringinal translation that the scripture was wrote. I am trying to do a word study on the words "never leave you nor forsake you" in Hebrews 13:5.
Your help is appreciated. Thank You and God Bless.

Hello again Customer (name blocked for privacy),

As you know there's some debate about the original language of the Bible as the Western Churches persist that the original Bible was written in Greek while many question how Paul, a learned Pharisee, could have quoted the Scriptures in a language that could never match the elegance of the Aramaic-Hebrew verse of the original Scriptures, let alone into a language that would force him to introduce errors in the translation. On the other hand the Western Churches claim that the ancient Aramaic versions of the Bible are a translation from the original greek version.

Here's a translation of Hebrews 13:5 that was made using the ancient ARAMAIC texts:

"5. Do not let your mercy be guided by money, except expend everything you have for the sake of mercy. For the Lord has said, "I shall neither leave you, nor loosen my hold on you."

Here's another one, from Dr. George Lamsa:

5: Do not be carried away by the love of money, but be content with what you have; for the Lord himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you"

Here's a translation of Hebrews 13:5 that was made from Ancient GREEK texts:

"13:5. Let your manners be without covetousness, contented with such things as you have. For he hath said: I will not leave thee: neither will I forsake thee."
http://www.newadvent.org/bible/heb013.htm

Here's Hebrews 13:5 from KJV:
"5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

Finally there's this website where you can find the comparison and much more of several translations:
